7/9/26 We have been bringing our long-haired cat, Major, to PVMC, for years now and we're always greeted with a smile which makes us feel so welcome! I called the clinic on 7/7/26 to make an appt, for Major to get him groomed and his nails trimmed, like a Spa Day.ha,ha,ha! However, the main reason for his appt was because of his loose stools and some vomiting in which thought it was from his hair balls due to him having long hair. Well, luckily we were able to make an appt the very next day and we were so grateful...because, we thought he was sick from the his long hair, but come to find out he has GI issues! At pick up we were given two samples of new foods; one a GI food and two-a pre and probiotic dry mix and told lab work was done. Please keep in mind that Major has been eating the same dried food for years because he had GI issues years ago and it was resolved...A dry food that's he preferred! So we thought... and became very concerned about Major not liking this new food, but we were very surprised and grateful that Dr. Stebbins prescribed these new foods! As it turned out, Major can't get enough of his new foods and they're healing him at the same time! We cannot say thank you enough to Dr. Stebbins and the whole staff, for being there, for Major and us, his parents during this time! Dr. Stebbins and their team are so helpful and informative with information when I brought my dog Max in. Max had a checkup and light therapy for his skin and was very calm. They were very gentle and made the experience easy. Thank you!

I have been very happy with everything and everyone at Preventive vet. It's so nice to see that the new owners reflect so much of what Dr. John brought to the clinic. Dr. Stebbins and all of the staff have that close knit/community vibe . You can also tell that everybody genuinely cares about your pets and their well being.

Dr. Stebbins has a great bed side manner. Great with the animals and the owners both. Excellent communicator, and easy to talk to. She makes herself available for questions, and always follows up. Vet techs are very friendly and competent. Would highly recommend her practice.

While they have been our vet. Ever since we got Gilligan. We absolutely loved Dr. John and his staff!!!! The new vets that purchased practice after his death. They are very nice and a great job!!!! But I never remember being charged extra for a followup visit. That lasted less than 10 minutes with the dr. Only to be told yes it looks much better!!!!! I have eyes. I can see that!! Lol I just wanted to say that unfortunately we are searching for a new vet. At this time we can't afford the pricing that has increased. We do love everyone there.
