From EMT to Animal Care
Alyssa began her career as an EMT at Ashby Fire Department before transitioning to veterinary medicine. She gained valuable experience as a receptionist at an emergency veterinary clinic, where she learned to triage and support patients during critical moments.

Growing with PVMC
Seeking a more hands-on role with animals, Alyssa joined PVMC and is excited to grow and learn alongside our team. Her dedication and care make a difference for every pet she meets!

Life Outside the Clinic
At home, Alyssa enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband, three boys, and a variety of furry and scaly pets, including a 4-year-old Great Pyrenees.

We’re so lucky to have her on the team! 🐾

Dr. John Lindermuth

Dr. John was a Texas A&M University graduate, and he practiced veterinary medicine for over 45 years. He converted the property barn into his practice and made PVMC a unique place to visit. He had an old-fashioned approach to medicine, which is extremely hard to find these days. Dr. John fused veterinary technologies with decades of personal experience and gave each pet a visit that was one of a kind.
Dr. John will always be remembered for his wit and willingness to serve his community and all in need. He never turned away from an animal he thought he could help live a better life. His legacy will live forever in the lives that he changed, both people and pets!

Dr. Nena Stebbins

Dr. Nena Stebbins grew up in West Tennessee. She received her undergraduate degree in animal science from Middle Tennessee State University in 2008 and graduated veterinary school in 2012 from the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Stebbins initially spent 3 years in emergency medicine in Tennessee before moving into general practice in Alaska, New York, New Hampshire, and now Massachusetts. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and client education. She believes owners are an integral part of caring for their pets and wants to help them be fully informed to keep their pets healthy and happy!
Dr. Stebbins has a full house and currently lives in Massachusetts with her recently retired military husband, Dave, and three children: Sawyer, Olivia, and Rezkin. She also has a dog, cats, and guinea pigs. Her mother, Donna, moved in to be with the family and brought her cats and now there are way too many cats! Nena loves to be outdoors with her family and tries to hike or explore new areas as often as possible and visit the beach as much as possible. In her free time, she also enjoys baking, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, or organizing anything and everything!

Dr. Anna Altobelli

Dr. Anna Altobelli is a New England native, originally from Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and then attended Kansas State University, where she completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2016. After graduation, Dr. Altobelli worked in research for a year in South Carolina. She then came back to New England to be closer to friends and family and has been working in general practice since. Dr. Altobelli has recently moved into her first home with her husband and two adopted guinea pigs, Thelma and Louise.

Dr. Altobelli’s interests include internal medicine, dentistry, preventative care, and exotic medicine. Her personal interests include traveling, gardening, spending time outdoors, and trying out new restaurants with her husband, as they are both foodies.

David Stebbins

David “Dave” grew up in North Alabama and joined the United States Air Force in 2001. During his service, Dave was a mechanic and a recruiter in his enlisted days. He received his commission in 2012 and continued to serve as an acquisitions manager, executive office, ROTC instructor, and Director of Operations. He retired as a Major in 2023.

Dave loves animals but prefers it when his wife doesn’t bring them all home. He also agrees that there are too many cats! Dave and Nena purchased PVMC from Dr. John in September 2023 and wish to continue his legacy by serving their local community and helping as many furry friends as they can.

Cassie Adams

Cassie (Lindermuth) Adams has been a part of 23 Maple Street since 1985 when she moved to Pepperell with her family. Growing up in Pepperell, she always loved the small community and with her father serving as the renowned town veterinarian, her love of animals continued into adulthood.
Cassie graduated from the University of Louisville with a BA in History. In Louisville she met her husband, Travis. They have 3 children Lindy, William, and Annie. Her children have also developed the same love of animals – they currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 1 house pig, 2 hamsters, and a bearded dragon in the home.
Cassie loves her assortment of farm animals almost as much as she loves her husband, Travis, and three children: Lindy, William and Annie. Cassie’s favorite things are the outdoors, watching her kids do the things they love, animals and gardening…oh and Netflix marathons!

Jenn Hostnick

Jennifer “Jenn” was born and raised in Massachusetts and has lived in New Hampshire and Vermont. In 2008, she became certified in professional pet grooming; in 2010 she received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UMass Dartmouth and in 2014 received an associate degree in veterinary technology from Mount Ida College.
Jenn is a Certified Veterinary Technician and is Ultrasound certified. She has been a groomer for the past 16 years, a technician for the past 12 years and an animal lover her entire life. Previously, she worked in veterinary emergency, shelter medicine, equine medicine. Jenn has a soft spot for misfit animals, and she has acquired a few in her travels. She has two three-legged dogs, four cats and five chickens. She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, crafts, gardening and ocean kayak fishing.

Casey Paiva

Casey was raised here in Massachusetts just around the corner from PVMC and came here with her family’s pets growing up. She has been a technician at PVMC for over 6 years, through all the good and bad times.

She has had many roles in the team, from reception to surgery assistant to exam room technician. At home she has (to no one’s surprise) many fur babies and aquatic critters, that she is more than happy to talk about when asked.

Danna Price

Danna “Dee” moved to New England from Tennessee five years ago with her family. Shortly after moving to Massachusetts, she adopted a disabled dog named Adira, whom she brought to PVMC for care. There, she fell in love with the staff and the care they provided for Adira. So, when the opportunity to join the team came up, she was more than eager to become part of the staff.
Dee is currently enrolled in school to become a certified veterinary technician and intends to further her education after graduation to specialize in canine rehabilitation. Along with work and school, Dee also volunteers her time working as a board member with a non-profit that specializes in bringing awareness, education, and support to families with differently-abled pups.
When she isn’t devoting her time to all things animal related, she enjoys being outdoors and hanging out with her friends and family. At the end of the day, she is kind and caring to all that deserve it. Although she prefers pets over people!

Alberta Winsor

Alberta moved to Pepperell in 2018, and she is married with two sons. She has over 20 years’ experience in animal rescue with dogs, small animals, reptiles and birds. Alberta has fostered and adopted many senior and special needs pets.
Alberta’s background includes working as a medical secretary, pet sitter and at a dog daycare. She joined PVMC in 2023 as a Veterinary Technician Assistant and looks forward to learning more.
A variety of rescued animals keep her busy at home. She has a Lab-mix Sadie, Poodle-mix Stanley, ex-racing Greyhound Archie, a dove, four mice, a gerbil, ducks and chickens. In her free time, she enjoys reading, yoga, walking, swimming and gardening.

Alyssa Murray

Prior to being in the veterinary field, Alyssa worked at Ashby Fire Department as an EMT. After some time, she decided to move from human medicine to animal medicine. She then began working at an emergency veterinary clinic where she was a receptionist. She gained some knowledge working with animals and was able to triage patients as they walked in the door.

Much like human ER, animal ER can be very sad and stressful. Alyssa decided that she would like to venture out and take on more responsibilities, becoming more hands-on with pets. Alyssa is very grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow here with PVMC!

At home, she has a husband and three boys who love to spend time outdoors on their ATVs and dirt bikes. They also enjoy going on hikes and catching fish. Alyssa has a few fury babies of her own, from chickens, bunnies, cats, and lizards to dogs. She has a 4-year-old Great Pyrenees that she loves to cuddle up with at night.

Donna Fleenor

Donna Johnson Fleenor was born in San Diego California. As part of a military family, she lived in Rural Retreat and Roanoke Virginia and then Hawaii before settling in Huntingdon TN at the age of ten. From her first marriage Donna has a son who lives just outside of Nashville Tn, a daughter you all know as Dr. Stebbins, and a bonus son and daughter who both live in Spring Hill, TN. She has four grandsons and two granddaughters.
She received her associate’s degree in nursing from University of Tennessee, Martin and started her 32-year career in Home Health with the last 14 years traveling for a large health care corporation integrating newly acquired agencies.
Donna’s husband of 23 years passed away in 2020 and in 2021 she made the decision to move with the Stebbins to Dunstable MA to spend more time with her youngest grandchildren. Yes, she had five cats, but puts most of the blame on her deceased husband. Being an animal lover, she couldn’t bear to leave any of them in TN, leading to a very long drive to MA.
Donna loves to read, and often has a hardback book and audio going at the same time. A good book, a cup of coffee and a quiet place to read are heaven to Donna, although the quite place is often difficult in the Stebbins home, so she occasionally sends herself to her room. Donna Retired from her Nursing career in February of 2023 and spent a short period of time adjusting to her new life. In December 2023 Donna started working at PVMC in reception and loves interacting with the clients and their fur babies.

She has over 30 years of experience in the veterinary field – She started her career with Dr John as a kennel tech in the 1990’s, to being a receptionist at Pepperell Vet and Townsend Vet, and finally circling back to PVMC in 2024.

She lives with her two four legged children, Oliver and Gracie. She loves colorful lipstick and hair, and her mints.
