Our veterinarian can determine a lot about your dog or cat’s overall health by performing a comprehensive physical exam. That doesn’t always tell the full story, though. Since animals can’t tell us if they aren’t feeling well or if they’re experiencing any unusual symptoms, we rely on various tests to keep an eye on what’s going on inside their bodies.
Thanks to our in-house diagnostic laboratory in Pepperell, we can monitor our patients’ baseline values, assess organ function, test for certain diseases and parasites, and more. We rely on your laboratory for blood, urine, and fecal tests. We also have x-ray and ultrasound equipment for times when we need a clear picture of what’s happening inside a patient’s body.
By providing in-house lab tests, we can obtain fast, accurate results. Compared to sending samples to an outside laboratory, in-house testing is often more affordable, too. Our laboratory enables us to provide pets with the highest level of care, and it is something that we are very proud of.
